Supporting Wellbeing and Enhancing Performance

Having spent many years working in a fast-paced, high-pressure finance role in London, I experienced firsthand how demanding office life can be. The relentless pace, long hours, and constant mental pressure often leave little time for rest, self-care, or doing the things we truly enjoy.

In today’s demanding work environments, employee wellbeing is no longer a luxury — it's a necessity. Reiki is a powerful and practical tool that can help reduce stress, improve focus, and support mental and physical health in the workplace.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive form of energy healing that promotes deep relaxation and restores balance to the body, mind, and spirit. It is not a religious practice or a form of massage, but a holistic therapy that supports natural healing processes.

Administered by a certified Reiki Master or Practitioner, Reiki involves the transfer of healing energy through light touch or hovering hands. It is completely safe, has no side effects, and is compatible with all other forms of medical treatment and wellness practices.

Benefits of Reiki in the Workplace

  • Reduces absenteeism by supporting overall health

  • Boosts productivity and workplace morale

What to Expect During a Reiki Session

  • Duration: Sessions typically last 30 to 45 minutes, depending on individual needs and workplace schedules.

  • Setting: The client remains fully clothed and can either sit or lie down on a massage table.

  • Technique: The Reiki practitioner places their hands gently on or just above the body in a series of positions designed to promote energy flow.

  • Experience: Most clients report a deep sense of peace, relaxation, and mental clarity after a session.

All treatments are individually tailored, with one-on-one sessions to ensure focused and personalized care.

Setting Up Reiki in Your Workplace

To ensure a successful Reiki program in your office, a dedicated quiet space is essential. This room should:

  • Be private and free from interruptions

  • Be large enough to accommodate a massage table

  • Have minimal noise, with mobile phones switched off during sessions

  • Be reserved exclusively for Reiki during designated time
